This photo that I am sharing with you today was taken a while ago at the breakfast table while I was getting my daughter ready for school and at the same time making her breakfast.

It is very difficult to feed children anything in the morning, but if children do not eat breakfast before going to school, there are holidays in school and often children start getting dizzy. This is why I try to send my children after breakfast and also send them with lunch so that if they get hungry during play, they can satisfy their hunger by passing the lunch.

I remembered when I was a kid, I couldn't eat breakfast before school either but had to. School started at 7:30am and we have to leave home by 6:30am, which means we have to eat breakfast at 6:00am. So difficult haha. Does the school have morning breaks before lunch time, i.e. at 9:45 or 10am? The roti looked like chapati, is it?

Most children are reluctant to eat anything before going to school, but I always make an effort to ensure they have breakfast before they leave. I also pack a light lunch, as children are eager to play during their break; if they don't get a chance to play, they might sit down to eat, but generally, they prefer playing over eating. Therefore, I try to ensure they eat a meal at home so that even if they skip lunch at school, they won't suffer from weakness. We usually have parathas for breakfast; these are made by frying the chapati with ghee or oil, which makes it crispy and tasty for the children.
