Hello Steemians. How are you doing? I'm still your favourite lady @macinova. Welcome to my diary. Happy New Month! still on new month season. September is here and I’m embracing it with good food, good health, and intentional choices. Today was all about nourishing my body with meals that felt right for each part of the day.

Morning at 8:00 AM, I woke up feeling very hungry. Instead of settling for something quick, I decided to process my fufu using cassava flour. Making fufu from scratch is therapeutic for me. I boiled water, added the cassava flour gradually, and stirred until it formed a smooth, elastic dough. The process takes patience, but the result is always worth it. There’s something satisfying about eating food you prepared with your own hands. It feels like a fresh start to the month.

Late Morning by 9:30 AM, I ate the fufu with bitterleaf soup. The soup was rich, slightly bitter, and packed with vegetables, protein, and spices. It’s one of those meals that fills you up and gives you energy for the day. Eating a traditional meal in the morning reminded me of home and of taking time to enjoy the new month.

By afternoon I wanted something refreshing. I made fruit salad. I chopped apples, pineapple, oranges, watermelon, and grapes, then mixed them together. No added sugar, just the natural sweetness of the fruits. It was light, hydrating, and perfect for the warm weather. Fruits in the afternoon help with digestion and keep the body energized without feeling heavy.

As night approached, I kept things simple. I had evening tea with a few biscuits. I prefer lighter food at night because it helps me sleep better and wake up refreshed. A warm cup of tea is calming and signals to the body that it’s time to wind down. Still in new month season, still choosing wellness.
