Kazi Nazrul Islam: The Rebel Poet of Bangladesh
Kazi Nazrul Islam was the National Poet of Bangladesh. He was a great poet, writer, musician, and a powerful voice against injustice.
He is known as the “Rebel Poet” because his writings strongly protested against oppression, inequality, and injustice. His famous poems include “Bidrohi” (The Rebel), “Kandari Hushiar,” and “Daridro” (Poverty).
He also wrote many songs, which are known as Nazrul Geeti. His works beautifully express love, humanity, equality, patriotism, and religious harmony.
