EL CAPITXN Finds His Voice
프로듀서 엘 캐피탄(장이정)이 11월 6일 첫 정규앨범 ‘WHO KILLED EL?’을 공개한다. 원인을 명확히 알 수 없는 질환으로 가수 활동을 중단한 뒤 작곡가로 전향한 그는 BTS, 아이유, 싸이 등의 음악에 참여해 100곡 이상을 만들었다. 록·오케스트라·가스펠·클래식·팝을 아우르는 12곡에는 여러 객원 가수가 참여한다. 그는 각 목소리의 개성을 빌려 상실과 변화, 창작자로서의 정체성을 풀어내며 작품의 방향과 책임을 직접 맡았다.
Producer EL CAPITXN, born Jang Yi jeong, will release his first full album, WHO KILLED EL?, on Nov. 6. After an unexplained illness ended his singing career, he became a producer with over 100 credits. The 12 tracks use distinctive guest voices and styles from rock to gospel to explore loss, change and creative identity.
