The Diary Game: A Busy Saturday As A Business Owner, Attending To Customers And Act Of Consistency [15/8/2026]

Hello lovely steemians, hope you are doing great? It's your girl @chimy. Welcome to today's episode of how I spent my day.

Today I woke up feeling happy and ready to face whatever the day brings. I had my morning devotion, did my house chores, prepared my breakfast, Ate had my bath and got dressed for shop. As a shop owner I don't joke with weekends, to me it's the day I make more sales and that is what keeps me motivated.

After I got dressed I started going to the shop. I left very early in the morning, even the road to the market where my shop is was looking so lonely.
I just had to be consistent with being present at the shop I don't miss it.

I got to the shop, swept the shop and did most things that needed to be done, before customers will start coming. And guys I sell female hair accessories and attachment.

Not long after customers started coming and I got really busy, I can't even remember having time to rest. I'm really grateful to God for a day like today. I was so happy because the stress and tiredness brought something into my bag. After attending to customers, I finally had time to rest a little. A little because, after that little rest customers started coming again. But while taking some rest I had to buy lunch at the market because I was so hungry. I bought one of my favorite meal which is Abacha.

After eating I quickly rushed down to the veggies area right there in the market to buy pumpkin leaf which I'll be using to prepare dinner when I get home. And since this is vegetable season I was able to buy it at a really good price

After getting the vegetable, I got back to the shop and continued the days sales. I met different types of people while at the shop, some aggressive ones, some hard to handle ones, fun ones and many more. But I still held my cool because as we all know "customers are always right". It was really interesting interacting with them.I really value my customers and treat them with patience.

After sometime it started getting late and I knew it was time for me to lock up and close for the day.

So I packed up, locked the shop and started going back home, looking so stressed.

When I got home, I quickly freshened up. After that I went to the kitchen and started preparing potatoe, plaintain and vegetable sauce for dinner. After I got done I ate.

After eating I rested for sometime and then I started calculating and recording the days sales in my sales book. I was so happy with what I achieved today. Honestly today was a good day for me. Hope you had a good day as well?
