THE DAILY GAME: 17th September, 2026 | My Car Broke Down 5 Minutes Into the Drive

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another episode of The Daily Game.Today was supposed to be just a normal day. Nothing special, nothing dramatic. I woke up, did my usual chores, got ready, and left home for work.

I took a car to work, and everything was going fine until about five minutes into the journey.Then suddenly.The car broke down. Like, the car just stopped on the road.

At first, I was just there wondering what was happening because I was already on my way to work. I had to start looking for another car, and finding another one wasn’t exactly smooth either. The next car I got was doing its own thing and basically just kept dropping me here and there.

It was honestly so annoying.And to make matters worse, my boss called me around 9:05 a.m. asking where I was.

I completely understood why she was asking because I’m usually not late to work. So I had to explain what happened and let her know that my car had broken down on the way.

Eventually, I made it to work.When I got there, I met my colleague, and we finished up the cleaning and everything else that needed to be done. After that, the day officially started.

I had already had breakfast at home, so I wasn’t really looking for food immediately. I mostly just stayed on my phone and chilled for a while because there wasn’t much happening.
My colleague bought lipgloss for me,I saw her with it and I loved it,so I asked her to buy for me too.

It was one of those quiet workdays.We had a few customers come around for snapping, but compared to some of our other days, it wasn’t too busy. Later on, I finally had lunch, and of course, you already know what happened after that.Popcorn.

At this point, I’m not even going to explain myself anymore. If the popcorn guy comes, I’m buying popcorn. That’s just the routine now.

We also sold one particular car today, but our boss didn’t give us money for it. I honestly don’t know why. We just did what we needed to do and continued with the day.

Eventually, it was time to close.After work, I went to meet my sister. By the time we were done, I also went to the market and bought a few things I needed.

And honestly, by this point, I was tired.Like, really tired.I eventually got home at almost 9 p.m., which felt so late after everything that had happened during the day.

But even after getting home, I still had something to do. I had to sit down and do some calculations before I could finally relax.

And that was basically how my day went.

A normal morning that quickly turned into a stressful commute because my car decided to break down five minutes into the journey. Then work, a few customers, lunch, popcorn as usual, shooting a car, closing, meeting my sister, market runs, and finally getting home almost at 9 p.m.

Not every day has to be exciting.

Sometimes, it’s just one annoying car breakdown, a long day at work, popcorn, and trying to survive until you finally get home.
Another day done.
