The Diary Game | 02/11/2026 | A Challenging Monday at School and Standing Up for Myself.

Hello everyone, good evening!

Trust you all are fine. It's Lovely be here again. I want to share with you how my day went.

Today is Monday, and my day went well somehow.

Early in the morning, I woke up to cook so we could get ready for school on time. After cooking, I arranged a few things in the house, got myself prepared and headed to school.

When I got to school, we had a short prayer before the morning assembly. The assembly went well, and immediately after that, I went to my class and started attending to my pupils. We started with Mathematics, followed by English and other subjects.

However, today was somehow challenging for me at school because of an issue that has been bothering me for a while.

All this while, I've been taking two classes, which was not what I was told I would be doing when I applied for the job.

Today, the head teacher told me that the proprietress said I had agreed to take two classes, and that was why they allowed me to work there. Honestly, I was surprised because that was not what she explained to me before I joined the school.

She told me that Nursery 1 and Nursery 2 were together in one classroom for now. I understood it to mean that both classes were combined, just like the school where I taught before, where Nursery 1 and Nursery 2 had two teacher and were handled separately.

I didn't know that was the reason she kept emphasizing my salary. How could I agree to handle two separate classes and receive the salary meant for just one class? That wouldn't be fair.

So, I decided to explain everything to them today because I've been complaining that I can no longer handle the two classes alone. Thankfully, they listened and helped out at least.

Although I wasn't really happy about the whole situation, I still tried my best to control my emotions and ensure I didn't upset anybody.

I was not able to even eat the food I took to school this morning, until I came home🥺

When I closed from school, I went straight to the shop. Later, I came home with my younger siblings, bath,rested for a little while, relaxed, and then we went back to the shop.

When we got there, I started working on something. I was setting examination questions, and that kept me busy.

Later in the evening, I closed from the shop around 9 p.m. and returned home. As usual, I prepared dinner and served everyone.

After that, I stayed up again to write. This time, it wasn't examination questions. I was working on my lesson notes for next week,and I continued until some minutes after 12 midnight
