The Diary Game: [19/08/2026] My First Experience Seeing A Snake…..

A very big hello to you all. I hope everyone is doing great. And I’m sure we are all enjoying the platform,so am I. I’ll be out for leisure today, it’s been a while I wore makeup. After getting ready, I took this very cute selfie. Ladies…..Did I do well? I learnt makeup myself and I feel Im not perfect but anytime I do it on me or on another, people keep saying I should start it as a business. Not really interested in it so I haven’t considered doing it as a hustle.

Back to my story on my first time of seeing a snake. It was a male cobra. But when I saw it, it was already dead already. It had been killed I saw it when it was about to be burnt. That day, early in the morning, we heard my mum let out a loud scream. My dad came out to ask what the issue was. She immediately told him there’s a snake in the kitchen store room.

He peeped and saw it already eating sun-dried fish. He quickly locked the store, boiled very hot water and splashed it at the snake. The snake didn’t bulge, it just wriggled and continued eating the fish. My dad immediately locked the store room again and went to look for help. He came back with some people. They opened the store room and poured kerosene at the snake. It immediately came out trying to escape. They started hitting it with hoes and rake till it died.

I wasn’t there when it was being killed because we ran to my neighbors house, my brother witnessed it and narrated how it was killed. It actually came in through a hole where the gas pipe passes. I saw it face to face in the dustbin when it was dead already. Long but not big. I heard my dad and uncle saying it was very dangerous and we were all lucky to find and kill it.

I don’t wish anyone to encounter it. A lot of things would have gone wrong. My second experience seeing it again was at boarding school. We were going for lunch when it fell from a tree we were close to and was running fast. It was that day I knew I could run. I crossed a large gutter without realizing it due to fear . I dreaded staying under trees since that incident.

I noticed whenever i eat late at night, I tend to wake up very hungry which isn’t supposed to be like that. Does this happen to you? I literally ate around 10pm last night but I woke up sooo hungry and also too lazy to prepare a proper breakfast. Had tea and bread to ease the hunger. Will cook pasta later in the day.

I visited the store to get a diaper gift to give to my cousin that just put to bed and also get diapers for son. It was after I came home I realized I got the wrong size for her newborn baby. I got a size four times larger than it should be. Went back to the supermarket to see if I could exchange it but they said no, so I’ll just keep it for my son and get another one when I’m going to visit her.

Currently undergoing a data analysis course and Im so busy with watching YouTube tutorials, jotting down notes, practicing what I’ve learnt and attending my online classes also. It’s not really an easy course but I’m determined to do it. Will catch up with you guys next time. Do have a great day.
