What matters most

Priorities are different for everyone in life, and they also vary with our age. In our 20s and 30s our priority is to build a family and our career, in 40s somewhere we start focusing on our health, in 50s and onwards health becomes top most priority, as we grow old, peace of mind is what is most important for us. So, age-wise priority shifts in life, but it is not standard. In life there are different things important for different people. Not necessary every single person in their 20s and 30s is wanting to marry and settle down with family. There are some people, who want to travel and make the most of life.

If you have to select from these 3 - Peace of Mind, Financial Freedom or Strong Discipline, then what will matter most to you? For me at this stage of life, all 3 are important. Financial freedom because I know I am getting old and I do not have many years now to work and earn, so this is the time when I would want to build the maximum corpus and then I can slow down. Strong Discipline is very important for me, because I need to take very good care of my health to be a healthy old age. Peace of mind is of utmost priority because that directly impacts my health, and who wants chaos in life.

It's difficult to decide what matters most as all three of them are equally important for me. Ideally, I will like to balance all three of them and live my life, rather than just focusing on one and neglecting the other two. To live peacefully one needs money and with money comes good health also. People who say money does not matter to them, probably they want to live in denial or they are too saintly. The fact is that in today's time that we live, money is very important. Peace of mind if not there then no amount of money will also matter. If good health is not there then life becomes so meaningless. It all interweaves. Hence for me, all three matter a lot.
