The Apple-Scented Aroma of a Lost Dream.
Have you ever stumbled upon a lost dream—whether someone else’s or your own?
In my own life, such moments have occurred—most frequently when I pick up my camera and notice things that others might find entirely uninteresting, like an apple lying in the grass.
Some might walk right past it, others might step on it, and some might even kick it aside. But for me, it’s a moment—like a gentle breeze carrying the scent of a ripe apple—that stirs a memory of times when I suddenly craved an apple, only to find none at hand.
Back then, fulfilling that little "dream" would have meant a trip to the market or a store. And yet, here it was—the dream itself—right before me. But in that moment, I had no desire to eat the apple; all I wanted was to capture the beauty of the morning dew droplets clinging to the skin of this otherwise unnoticed fruit.
I realized that this photograph, which I took some time ago, fits perfectly with the theme of the engaging photo contest 📸 MOMENTS IN FOCUS — PHOTO CONTEST #5, organized by the esteemed @marcoteixeira.
