When the Road Turns Dark.
After the Storm
I took this photo with my iPhone 16e just after a storm.
What caught my attention was the wet road and its reflections. Using only the Photos app, I darkened the surroundings and increased the contrast to make the road the real protagonist.

The point of view makes the scene slightly unsettling. Taken from the passenger seat, it would probably have been safer… but less effective.

It is good to see the process. So your photo was already black and white? You made something dark out of it, good for a Halloween movie or horror. Just a pity the wet of the road doesn't show clearer.
I doubt taking a photo from the passenger's seat, climbing over while driving is a great idea.
The storm had already done most of the desaturating, and the asphalt had drunk up most of the water. With that much safety, you can afford to take a few risks.
