8/21/26 💿 Four Tune Friday! On Nineties Friday! 🎸 More Deep Cuts From Classic Nineties Albums! The Lesser Known Tunes From Huge Records Released In 1994 But Weren’t The Radio Singles Everybody Knows 🎶

This week I’m picking my four tunes from big successful 1994 albums, but these tunes weren’t the radio & MTV played singles. These are the great tunes that at least in some cases, should have been released as music videos & radio singles but weren’t.

It’s Four Tune Friday On Nineties Friday! I pick 4 different bands & albums to pick my tunes from! We’ll go with The Offspring ,Soundgarden , Green Day & actually I will include another 1994 record since these 3 all were released that year. Let’s do Weezer & I’m throwing in a Bonus Tune from Another 1994 record. Also I’m only picking tunes that weren’t radio singles & are lesser known but all from huge nineties albums!

For Bonus tune I pick a band with only 1 big hit. Unlike the monster success of the 4 bands above, Sponge was a “one hit wonder” when they broke big with Plowed ⬇️

From there 1994 record. Honestly the album dropped off after the big single but I picked a deep cut tune from the record. Keeping all this posts picks deep cut non radio hits & all released in 1994!

Turns out it was a single & had a music video. It just bombed commercially. That said it’s a decent song but there’s a good reason the 4 bands above weren’t one hit wonders, they make great albums. Sponge made a great song but not so much a great album.
