The Diary Game // 17th September 2026 // Going to Gramganj and spending moments
Dear friends, I hope you all are doing well. I am also Alhamdulillah, very well by the endless mercy of Allah. Like every day, I woke up just before Fajr prayer, and then I performed the prayer.
After that, I performed the Fajr prayer and attended class until eight in the morning. Since today is Thursday, I planned to go home, but first, I went to my sister's house. The reason is that from there, I will take my sister and nephew with me to our village home. So, I took a rickshaw to go to my sister's house.
After that, when I got there, I had breakfast in the morning. After finishing eating, around 10:30, I went to pick up my sister's daughter from school, and then brought her straight home. After that, everyone got ready.
Normally, we don't come to our village house together, so when I come, my sister also comes with me. Anyway, she was already ready, and I was ready with the bike because we were going to go by bike.
We left from there around eleven o'clock. The bike wasn’t very big and it was just a normal bike, which is why we reached safely without any issues. Usually, it takes maximum an hour and a half to two hours to come from the city to the village, meaning to our home.
So we took about two hours to get here. We came slowly and safely. We reached home around one o'clock. We had lunch and then rested for a while, met with everyone, and after that, I went out again on the bike heading towards the market.
The purpose of going to the market was that mom and dad stay at home, but usually they don't do the shopping very well and often fish and meat aren't bought. So I went to the market with that purpose and thought I'd bring a little extra fish.
I went straight to the market, the village markets are quite big, spread over large areas. Then I went to the fish market and bought fish worth about 1,200 taka.
I brought them home from there; it took me about only 20 minutes. After that, I gave them to my sister and my mom, and they easily cut the fish and sized them nicely.
Naturally, I didn’t want to burden them or cause them any trouble by bringing the fish. But there was no one in the village to cut the fish, which is why I brought them home and got them cut myself.
I always feel like sitting and watching my mom and sister when they are cutting these. So I kept chatting with them while sitting so that they wouldn’t feel hurt or alone.
After spending quite some time like this, I took my bike and went out with my childhood friend, Plus Kaku. We went to an old shop where we used to have tea when we were kids.
But the tea I had at the old shop doesn’t taste as good as it used to back then. I asked the shopkeeper if he had changed the way he makes tea.
You spoke the truth, he told me that he no longer makes it the way he used to. So I came straight from here to his place, and then I slept. Allah Hafiz.
