Banana shop |Sheorapara
I hope you are all doing well; by the grace of Allah, I am doing very well—Alhamdulillah. Today, I visited a shop and would like to tell you about it. It was a mobile shop—specifically, a vendor selling bananas from a van, moving through the city's alleys and streets. Moreover, the bananas he sells come entirely from his own orchard. They are incredibly delicious; since they are local varieties, they are naturally very sweet. Everyone loves local bananas, and I am certainly no exception. When I visited, the shop was located right next to the Shewapara Central Jame Mosque. I learned from the vendor that he frequents this spot often; so, if you wish to buy bananas here, you will likely find him in the morning, as he stays at this location for a short while each day. Afterward, he takes his van to other areas where sales are good.
Bananas are a fruit that almost everyone enjoys. While they are typically yellow, there are many varieties—such as Sagar, Shobori, and Kanchkola (green plantains)—but the ones sold at this particular shop were the local variety. Bananas are highly nutritious and beneficial for people of all ages, from children to the elderly. Eating them boosts the body's energy levels. They are extremely good for us, and buying them from vendors like this one is a great way to get that energy boost.

The vendor maintains a very clean environment where he sells his bananas, ensuring the surrounding area remains tidy. He is always mindful of his surroundings to ensure no one is inconvenienced. He sets up in a small space on the roadside to sell his stock and moves to a different location once sales at the current spot are done. He has been selling bananas this way for nearly 30 years. He has extensive experience and treats his customers very well. He even sold the bananas at a rate five taka lower per kilogram than the standard market price—a significant saving for ordinary people like us. If a customer wants to eat a banana right there, he provides a dustbin; he is very careful to ensure no one throws peels onto the street, which is why he keeps a bin handy. He has set a wonderful example in this regard—something other shopkeepers often fail to do.
He keeps the shop open from 10 AM to 11 PM, selling bananas continuously throughout the day. His shop is stocked exclusively with bananas, and he has earned a great reputation by specializing in them. He always provides high-quality bananas to his customers; he never mixes bad fruit with the good ones and always conducts his business with honesty.
It is this honesty that has made his business so successful; people constantly flock to his shop to buy bananas. I visited the place to buy some myself, and after speaking with the shopkeeper, I learned a great deal about him. He runs the shop entirely on his own, without needing any extra help. His children are pursuing their education, and he has managed to provide them with a good upbringing and schooling through his banana business. Hearing this truly moved me; I was deeply touched by the immense effort he puts into supporting his children's education. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop.
Furthermore, I had a wonderful experience visiting the shop and observing his way of selling. I gained a very positive impression from the visit. I was deeply impressed by the shopkeeper's demeanor and the hard, honest work he puts into his business.
