Hello, friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your days. Today, I would like to share a bit about my favorite hobbies. In my spare time, I most enjoy blogging and playing various online games—activities that have been a part of my life for a long time.

How did these hobbies begin?

I have been blogging and playing online games for about 10–11 years. These weren't interests I had since childhood; rather, my passion for them developed gradually after I moved to Malaysia for work.

Living abroad, away from family and loved ones, is not easy. Especially in a new environment, I often felt lonely. Being away from familiar faces and spending my free time by myself was quite difficult. I began looking for something that would bring me joy and help me make the most of my leisure time.

Eventually, I discovered blogging and online games. I grew to enjoy them, and they soon became my constant companions during my spare time.

Why do I enjoy blogging and playing games?

For me, blogging is more than just writing; it is a way to share my thoughts and experiences with others. Through this platform, I can express my own ideas, read what others have written, and connect with a variety of people. It also gives me the chance to learn new things from the experiences of others.

Additionally, I enjoy playing the various games available on these platforms. They bring me a lot of joy during my downtime. I also like playing various free games found online. After a busy day at work, spending some time on activities I love really lifts my spirits.

These hobbies have not only helped me pass the time but have also eased my sense of loneliness. Even while living far from my family, the online world has allowed me to find moments of genuine happiness. Does anyone else in my family share these hobbies?

I don’t really see the same level of interest in these two activities among other members of my family. They are primarily my personal preferences—things I enjoy during my leisure time. Even though no one else in my family shares these hobbies, my own interest in them has not diminished.

What kind of skills are required for these hobbies?

I believe every activity requires a certain degree of skill and knowledge. Blogging, for instance, calls for a habit of writing, patience, creativity, and a willingness to learn new things. Through long-term writing, I have learned a great deal, and I continue to learn even now.

Similarly, playing games requires an understanding of their rules. One needs to know how to play, how to respond to various situations, and how to achieve good results. Since the rules and strategies differ from game to game, learning them takes time and practice.

Are these hobbies expensive?

I appreciate that these hobbies don’t always require significant expenditure. Blogging and playing various free online games primarily require an internet connection and a suitable device. While there are costs associated with the internet and the device itself, no additional spending is strictly necessary just to pursue these hobbies.

Looking back, I realize that over the last 10–11 years, blogging and online gaming have become deeply intertwined with my life. These hobbies helped me overcome the loneliness I felt after moving to Malaysia. I have integrated both into my life to make my leisure time more enjoyable.

I believe everyone should have hobbies that bring them joy, teach them something new, and help them carve out some time for themselves amidst a busy life.
