Voice of Talent – Week #19 Update and New Music Contest

Dear music-loving friends, how is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time. Welcome to another new edition of our weekly "Voice of Talent" event, brought to you by the Post Planet community.

Each week, I strive to create an opportunity for the talented members of our community to express their inner feelings through their voices. The goal of this initiative is not merely to host a singing contest, but to build a wonderful and active community of music lovers.

However, before announcing the new contest, I would like to share a few thoughts regarding the previous week.

🎵 Week #18: A Quiet Week

Regrettably, we did not receive any entries for the music contest in Week #18.

To be honest, this was a bit disheartening for me, as a great deal of my time, effort, and passion goes into organizing each of these contests. I truly hope that members of our community will come forward to showcase their talents.

At the same time, I fully understand that everyone has personal commitments and various responsibilities; it is not always possible for everyone to participate.

Nevertheless, I do not wish to discontinue this initiative. I firmly believe that our community is home to many talented individuals who, with a little encouragement, could share their gifts with everyone.

So, leaving the disappointment of last week behind, let us begin a new week with renewed enthusiasm.

🎤 Week #19: This Week’s Music Contest

Contest Theme: "The Song That Lifts My Spirits"

Music is a beautiful part of our lives. Sometimes, when we are feeling down, or when our body and mind are exhausted from the demands of work, a favorite song can bring us joy in an instant.

There are certain songs that, the moment we hear them, bring a smile to our faces. Some songs might remind us of our childhood, others may be tied to cherished memories, and some might even inspire us to embrace life anew. For this competition, you are required to perform a song that lifts your spirits and brings you joy.

You may choose a song in any language—be it Bengali, English, Hindi, or any other language.

In addition to your performance, you must submit a written piece of at least 350 words, in which you explain:

Why you chose this particular song.

How you feel when you listen to it.

Whether there are any special memories associated with this song.

Why you think others might also enjoy listening to it.

Please aim to share your personal feelings and experiences through your writing.

📝 Competition Rules

1. You must perform the song using your own natural voice.

2. Your entry must be published within the 'Post Planet' community.

3. The video of your performance must be uploaded to YouTube or Speem.watch, and the link must be included in your post.

4. The title of your post must contain the phrase "singing contest."

5. You must write at least 350 words explaining why you chose the song and sharing your personal feelings about it.

6. Lip-syncing, AI-generated vocals, and previously published entries are not permitted.

7. The song you choose must align with the designated theme for this competition.

8. You must include all the required tags in your post.

💰 Prize Pool: 25 STEEM

To encourage our talented participants, we are offering a total prize pool of 25 STEEM.

🥇 1st Place: 10 STEEM

🥈 2nd Place: 6 STEEM

🥉 3rd Place: 4 STEEM

🏅 4th Place: 3 STEEM

🏅 5th Place: 2 STEEM

Winners will be selected based on the effort put into the vocals, the quality of the performance, the emotion conveyed, relevance to the theme, and the overall presentation.

Although participation over the last few weeks hasn't quite met our expectations, I remain optimistic. With your support and love, I am confident that we can make this initiative even more vibrant.
