Assalamu Alaikum

Hello friends, how is everyone doing? I hope you are all doing well.

Today, I would like to share an idea.

This is crucial for the practical utility of 'Puss'.

A new feature should be added to the PussSteem website: a P2P (peer-to-peer) marketplace.

Currently, there are significant issues with P2P transactions on platforms like Binance.

Many users have found themselves facing legal trouble after completing transactions.

Let me explain: recently, an individual sold dollars (stablecoins/crypto) on Binance. Shortly after, they were arrested by the CID (Criminal Investigation Department). It was later discovered that the person who purchased the dollars had hacked someone else's bank account and used those stolen funds to buy the crypto via Binance.

When a bank account is hacked, the victim typically files a formal complaint.

The police then investigate and trace the funds to the account where the hacker first transferred them.

Some unscrupulous individuals are exploiting Binance P2P for illicit activities. This is not just a problem in Bangladesh; it is an issue occurring in countries all over the world.

What if we introduced P2P trading on PussSteem?

If a dedicated P2P feature were added to PussSteem, it would facilitate regular transactions for users within the Steemit community.

The system could be structured in a couple of ways—for instance, trusted members of the Puss community could act as buyers, or it could function like other P2P platforms where any user can buy and sell.

I believe implementing such a system would be a positive step.

Security is, of course, paramount.

Simply launching a P2P feature is not enough; it must be supported by robust security measures. Every buyer should be required to provide a certain amount of collateral. This is primarily a security measure: if a buyer were to take the dollars (or other currency) but fail to complete the payment, the collateral could be used to compensate the affected party. Additionally, a rating and reporting system should be implemented.

Why could this idea be beneficial for PussSteem?

It would help increase the number of users on the PussSteem platform.

A small fee—payable in Puss Tokens—could be charged for every buy/sell transaction.

Since users would need to hold Puss tokens in their wallets to conduct transactions, this would create real-world utility for the Puss token.

Furthermore, the Puss tokens collected as fees could be burned.

Users would be encouraged to use the PussSteem P2P platform for the sake of security.

Personally, I would certainly use this platform for my own transactions.

Final thoughts:

I would like the Puss community to consider this proposal for future development.

If this feature is implemented,

all users will benefit from it.

If you like this proposal—or if you have any other ideas—please feel free to share them in the comments. Take care, everyone!
