The Diary Game | A Busy Day Preparing to Welcome Our Visitors [ 03/07/2026]

Hello Steemit family,
Welcome to another episode of my diary. I hope you are all doing well. Today was quite a special and exciting day because we were expecting some visitors at our house. Everyone was looking forward to their arrival, and I couldn't wait to welcome them.

I started my morning by having pap and akara for breakfast. After eating, I immediately began my household chores. Since we were expecting guests, I wanted the house to look neat and comfortable. I swept the compound, cleaned the rooms, arranged the chairs, and made sure every corner of the house was tidy. It took some time, but I was happy with the result. After finishing the cleaning, I took a refreshing bath and got ready for the rest of the day's activities.

In the afternoon, I hurried to the market to buy the ingredients needed to prepare a delicious meal for our visitors. The market was very crowded, with traders calling customers to buy from them. Since I already had a regular seller, I went straight to her stall and bought fresh okra and the other ingredients we needed for the soup. After making my purchases, I quickly returned home so we could start preparing everything before our visitors arrived.

When the food was finally ready, I decided to eat because I was very hungry after such a busy day. The meal was so delicious that I couldn't resist having my share before the visitors arrived.

Later in the evening, our visitors had still not arrived because there was heavy traffic on the road. While waiting, I decided to take a short walk around the neighborhood. By the time I returned home, our visitors had finally arrived. I warmly welcomed them, and we spent the rest of the evening talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company.It was a busy but fulfilling day, and I was happy that everything went well.
