Digging to break concrete and remove the tank stand Scr Samsung A05

Humanity first before money. We must learn or continue to think about our fellow humans

Hello Steemians 👋. I am @freshgrace. I want to share an experience at the cause of getting our permanent site busy. It has been from one lesson to another. Relating with the workers once different occasions opened another dimension of understanding life entirely to me.

I started updating us about the development on our church permanent site some times ago. At this point, Gid is helping to gradually get a few things done. First, our target was to raise a temporary structure, which we succeeded. Next was to provide convenience facilities for the church that will consider children, females, and male.

There was no other way to start than to drill a borehole. God provided the resources through an individual who single handedly made our borehole dream a reality. What next was the contemplation. Once you have a borehole, the water tank and stand will be the next thing to do. While we were thinking on how to construct a whater tank stand we remember that our headquarters church had a stand that is not used again because they constructed a higher one to feed the three storey building while this one initially was for bungalow.

We requested, and it was granted immediately. Removing it from the church at number 73 Wellington Bassey Way Uyo to Use Offot was the task that needed a professional welder. Our church project committee chairman contacted a known person who bargained at two hundred and fifty thousand (250,000) naira to remove it from the ground and take it to our church site. At first, I was excited. We pleaded with him at two hundred thousand (200,000) naira. He accepted.

We moved to his workplace and him to pick his tools and call his apprentice and others from outside to come for the job. Personally, I was with them without going home. I was passionate about them bringing it out from the ground because I felt it will be difficult but they told me to leave for them, that they used to do something harder and longer that this our own. When other of our members were not available, I stood in the gap in case they may need anything.

My fear and worry shifted to the heavy rain that fell as they were about to commence the work. If they had said they were nit going to work under the rain, it would have been understood but their people had the mind to work under the serious rain with the cold weather that I myself couldn't withstood. From about 10 am, we were there until 6:18pm. They excavated and broke the hard-core concrete that was well compacted to firmly hold the heavy tank stand.

I saw the pain they went through, the cold and the rain on them. We might have agreed at a price, but my heart was gladdens to appreciate them. To even remove was not another part. Carrying it from there to the permanent site was the roughest experience they could get. The first motor they brought couldn't carry, and in the process, the mother mirror got broken. They had to look for another. Putting into the mother and offloading it was a testament of hard job, but they succeeded. They successfully relocated it to our church permanent site in the night, although d couldn't mount it that day.

In my next write-up, I will update us on how they mounted the tank stand and what we did after such labor, the energy inserted, and the wounds they sustained. The good news is that the tank laned at the desired position. I personally appreciated them while also listening to whatever request they made.

THANK YOU FRIENDS 🧡
