The Diary Game; 15th July 2026. First day learning how to drive🥰.

Hey, besties! It’s your girl Naomi here again. Good evening, and welcome back to another diary of my day. 💕

So, how was your day? I hope you all had a wonderful day because mine was actually okay.

This morning, I woke up with a sharp pain in one of my eyes. Honestly, I don’t know what caused it. I kept thinking it might have been because I slept very late the previous night, but I’m still not sure.

When I realized how painful it was, I couldn’t get out of bed immediately. I had to sit on my bed for about 20 to 30 minutes before I could even stand up. While I was sitting there, I kept covering my eye with my hand and gently pressing it, hoping the pain would reduce. Thankfully, it eased a little, even though it didn’t disappear completely.

After that, I said my morning prayers and headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Once I was done, I went to the kitchen to prepare something for breakfast.

After eating, I took my supplements. If you know me, then you already know how much I love taking my supplements because healthy skin is one of my biggest priorities. I love having clear, glowing, healthy-looking skin, and I believe taking care of my skin starts from within, not just with skincare products.

After breakfast and my supplements, I went straight to the bathroom to have my shower and get ready for the day. I didn’t have any plans to go out because, as you all know already, I’m an introvert and a stay-at-home girl. Most days, you’ll either find me at home or scrolling through my phone.

After getting dressed, I climbed back onto the bed and started using my phone. A little while later, my husband called and told me he was coming home from work to take me somewhere because he wanted to teach me how to drive.

You guys, I was so happy! I think that was the best news I received all day.

The funny thing is that he has always told me he wouldn’t use his car to teach me how to drive because he was afraid I might damage it. He would always joke that the car was too expensive for him to risk while teaching a beginner. So hearing him say he was finally going to teach me today honestly surprised me. At the same time, I was really excited.

Towards the evening, he came home, and since I already had some stew that I had prepared earlier, I simply boiled some white rice. I served him, served myself as well, and we both ate before getting ready to head out.

When we got to the place where he wanted to teach me, he stepped out of the driver’s seat, and I nervously took his place.

Before we started moving, he patiently explained the basics to me—where the pedals were, how to position my feet, what each control does, and other little things I needed to know before driving.

I’m not even going to lie—I was terrified!

As I sat behind the steering wheel, my mind was racing. I kept thinking, “Please don’t let me press the wrong thing. I hope I don’t make the car jump or cause any damage.”

I was honestly so nervous, but at the same time, I was excited because I was finally doing something I had wanted to learn.

Thankfully, everything went smoothly. Nothing scary happened, nothing got damaged, and I actually did better than I expected. I was so proud of myself for taking that first step.

After the lesson, we headed back home, and by then it was already dark.

I had my bath, completed my skincare routine, and not long after that, my husband had to leave again because he was returning to work.

Once he left, I climbed into bed, picked up my phone, and spent some time scrolling through different online stores, just window-shopping and relaxing before calling it a night.

And that was pretty much how my day went. Nothing too stressful, nothing too exciting—just my usual peaceful day. But the highlight of my day was definitely learning how to drive for the very first time, and I’m honestly looking forward to learning even more.

Thank you so much for spending another day with me. I truly appreciate every single one of you.

Good night, besties. Sleep well, stay safe, and I’ll see you all in my next diary.

Bye-bye! I love you all. ❤️
