The Diary Game: From Unexpected Rent Hike to a Rainy Evening and Homemade Rice (18/09/2026)

Good day everyone and welcome to another edition of my Daily Diary Game entry. Accept my warm greetings from my side of the globe. I hope everyone is doing great today.

When I woke up in the morning, I was so happy and I can't explain the reason of my happiness, I think today will be bright, it was already 7:40am and I stood from bed to prepare my day. Exchanging greetings with my parents and sitting for a while, I on my data and a message pop in from my whatapp, it was from our Lodge information group, a noticed was drop that the will be an increments of rent from 1st of October 2026.

The one that disturbed me that very morning was is the increments was from 80k to 200k (Eighty Thousand Naria to Two Hundred Thousand Naria) I was at shock because I can't meet up since this semester will be the semester I had to pay for school fee to start a new level, at that point I have started looking for another lodge. With that information, I was bored and I have to keep up my day but inside of me am deeply worried. I have to contact some of my guys to know if their lodge have vancay which the reply was negative.

After having my breakfast and taking my bath, I zoom off to work, reaching at the shop I try not to let it bored me, I worked and gist with my colleague as well, during the afternoon hours when I was feeling hurry hopefully the woman I use to buy Pepper soup showed up and I had to get from her, I was also hoping to prepare rice when am back home. So it started drizzling again during the mid afternoon. I prayed that it will stop before 6:pm sharp I will be living.

When I left the shop for home, when it was time, I branch at the man shop I use to buy food stuffs to get some rice and what I will be using to prepare it, so reaching home, and it started raining again I thank God I have got home before the rain started because I was not with my umbrella. After redressing I went straight to the kitchen and started preparing my MTN rice, before I was done cooking, it was already 8:50pm then I served myself and ate, each time my mind remembers the lodge increments I will be sad. But I have hand over everything to God's hand. Till my next diarygame entry.
