The Diary Game [12/09/2026] The town reopened after a one-week lockdown imposed by separatist fighters.

Hello @everyone accept warm greetings from this end globe .Today is another day for me to share with you guys my daily activities.It been one week we are indoors lockdown imposed by seperatist fighters on us . Precisely north west and south region of Cameroon . Iam affected because I live inthe northwest region of Cameroon .

Cameroon has been experiencing socio political crisis for 9 years now in this regions .Power tussles between the government and and the separatists fighters . Thousands of people have died , gender based violence especially on women and many people have displaced to other region .

Inspite effort made to end this by international bodies and home governments.The separatists fighters has refused to siezed fire claiming the government has not satisfied the demands. Schools just reopen for the new academic.Lockdown was to distract and stop children from reopening from the said day given by government.

Rather said school will reopen but on the 21st of September2026.Instead of 7th September, 2026. Then imposed lockdown for the whole of one week from 7th to 12th .Which will continue till the 21st of September. Today is weekend we were only given the chance to come out and buy foods. I had a lot to do in town , I took a cab to town to buy food stuffs for the house .

Places were open and town was functioning but some areas where witnessing serious gunshots .Military exchange with separatists fighters. No one could explain the reason behind all these . Immediately I hurriedly. Reach the market things were very expensive as sellers could not cross to town because gunshots.I bought fresh tomatoes since I needed it .

When I was done u had to look for raw plantains and buy .It was very scarce in the market .The price was very expensive I had price than to negotiate and buy a bunch of plantain.When I was done I had to buy fruits that will take us for the week .I only managed to see ripe banana which I bought some .

Suddenly the town change there was serious gunshots .people hide for their safety.We waited for about 2hours in hidings .When places were calm , I had to leave and continue my journey back home without finishing buying food stuff and other things that brought me to town. On way home places were very scarce and dry .People were rushing to get back home as the town was scary with gunshots

Fortunately I arrived home safely my experience today was not a good one.As they was gunshot everywhere in town .I left for market and kids were in house .Luckily , I came back and they were fine busy playing their games on the computer.

My day was not a good one as expected coupled with the fact that we already a week of lockdown but the environment is still tense . The day we could run our personal errands places were still in crossed gunshots exchange between military and separatist fighters.Disturb most active of the day .Wishing for better days ahead and praying for God intervention upon us to bring peace and unity in our land 🙏🙏🙏.
