Season 34 : Week 6 Challenge Questions: Question 1
Yes, I have a garden, but it's very small, and I am thinking of replanting what I planted when the dry season comes or during the holiday period, when I have time to take care of it.
Before, I did spend much time taking care of it when it wasn't raining heavily, and I was around at home. For the first three months, when I planted vegetables in the garden, I was spending much time in the garden weeding the grass and keeping the garden clean. What I believe about owning a garden, no matter how small it is, is that there is something special about planting a seed, caring for it, and seeing it grow into something useful.
In my small garden, sometimes I do spend time tending the garden whenever I have the opportunity to do so. However for almost a month now I haven't spent time tending the garden, which I plan on doing so this weekend when I would have the opportunity to be at home. During the first three months, when I planted vegetable seeds in this garden, I watered the plants, removed weeds, loosened the soil, and made sure that the plants got adequate sunlight to grow.
When next I would cultivate this garden which would be during dry season I would love to grow a mixture of fruits, and vegetables. Fruits such as mango, pawpaw, and mango would be the fruits I would love to grow, then the vegetables would be Ugwu leaf, tomatoes, okra, pepper, garden eggs and spinach which are used for everyday cooking are the vegetables I would love to grow.
It is when I have enough space that I would grow the fruits and vegetables I have mentioned. However, I have talked with the community leaders about my plans, and they have agreed to sell me a secure and fertile piece of land within a riverine area in the community whenever I have the money to purchase a piece of land of my own.

You are right; having a vegetable garden—no matter how small—requires care and knowledge about what is being grown. Heavy rains pose a challenge because weeds grow quickly and demand constant maintenance, while periods of drought bring their own set of problems.
Being at home makes it easier to keep an eye on the garden, but when we are away for long periods due to work or other matters, there is a tendency to neglect it.
I hope you can get a larger plot of land and, as you mentioned, grow vegetables and fruits.

Reading your writing is particularly good that you do not understand the garden just a plant, but it combines time, hard work and patience. In order to clear the grass in the first three months, to soften the soil, water and providing proper light to the plants, it is certainly working hard work. I also felt interesting to your future, especially that you want to grow tomatoes, bones, peppers and spots such as daily food. If you have the fertile land in the future you have mentioned, this garden can change a large project from a small household garden. Hopefully, on this weekend and you will have time for your garden and give your new cultivation in the dry season. Usted tiene razón, estimado amigo; es muy bonita la sensación al ver crecer la semilla que sembramos, hasta convertirse en una planta próspera o un árbol.
En el pasado tuve mangos en mi jardín, pero tuve que cortar el árbol porque era muy grande y sus ramas eran pesadas, entonces cuando había viento ellas se desprendían y caían sobre parte del tendido eléctrico, era todo un problema.
Actualmente tengo plantas de papaya, son faciles de cuidar y crecen rápido.
