A Decade of Transformation: My Vision for 2036

Ten years is both a short span in human history and an eternity in the world of technology. Looking ahead to 2036, I envision a future where innovation, resilience, and smart technology converge to solve some of the world's most pressing challenges.

Here is my personal and professional projection for where I will be—and how the world around me will evolve—over the next decade.

My Career & Professional Path in 2036

By 2036, I see myself leading a pioneering technology company specializing in custom software architectures, intelligent cloud-mobile ecosystems, and decentralized digital solutions.

Having built my foundation in software engineering, mobile development, and database systems, my focus in 10 years will be on scaling intelligent infrastructure and local tech ecosystems. I hope to mentor the next generation of engineers, proving that high-impact software solutions can be designed, built, and deployed anywhere in the world—even strictly from mobile interfaces!

Where Will I Be Living?

I envision living in a vibrant, emerging tech city that prioritizes digital innovation and community. My ideal home in 2036 will be a smart, energy-efficient workspace designed to support both seamless remote international collaborations and local engineering projects, reflecting a true integration of technology and sustainability.

How Will Society Around Me Change?

In the next 10 years, I anticipate a massive global shift toward digital governance, fintech accessibility, and tech-driven education:

  • Digital Financial Inclusion: Cashless transactions, mobile wallets, and decentralized finance (DeFi) will become the primary foundation for daily commerce and international trade.
  • Remote Micro-Entrepreneurship: Young professionals and creators will increasingly leverage global freelancing platforms, micro-services, and mobile AI tools to achieve financial independence and geographic flexibility.
  • Tech in Education: Practical software engineering, digital literacy, and computational thinking will be integrated into early education, bridging the digital divide globally.

Will the World Be Very Different in 2036?

Absolutely. The world of 2036 will operate on seamless AI collaboration and powerful edge computing:

  1. AI as an Essential Partner: AI will no longer be seen as a replacement for human creativity; instead, it will act as an ambient personal co-pilot, handling routine automation while humans focus on complex problem-solving and innovation.
  2. Hyper-Mobile Workflows: Heavy desktop dependencies will fade further. Powerful handheld hardware will allow developers and creators to build complex software architectures directly from mobile devices on the go.
  3. Decentralized Economies: Web3 technologies, secure digital identities, and smart contracts will streamline international collaboration and eliminate geographic barriers for creators and engineers.

Final Reflection

The future isn't something we merely wait for; it is something we actively code and shape every day. In 2036, I look forward to looking back at this exact post on Steemit as a testament to a vision that came to life!

¿A qué ciudad tech emergente apuntás concretamente?

Hola @wgonz 👋
