📢 My Idea: Rewards for Sharing Posts!

Especially those of us who regularly publish posts on Steemit always want more and more people to read our content. But just publishing a post on Steemit doesn't always help us reach new readers.

That's why my suggestion is to introduce a feature where users can share their own Steemit posts on Facebook, X (Twitter), and other social media platforms to bring new readers to Steemit.

Although some communities sometimes encourage users to share their posts on X (Twitter), this is not something that everyone does regularly.

💡 How Could This Feature Work?

Steemit could provide a special sharing link for each post. Users could copy that link and share it on other social media platforms. Through this link, it might be possible to track how many new readers visit Steemit to read that particular post.

Those who bring genuine new readers could receive a special badge from Steemit, recognition, or even additional rewards based on certain rules.

However, users should not receive rewards simply for sharing the same link repeatedly. Strong protection against fake visits, spam, and artificial activities would be very important.

🌍 How Would This Benefit Steemit?

First of all, content creators would feel more encouraged to promote their writing. Secondly, people who have never heard about Steemit before might discover this platform through different posts.

Let me give you a simple example.

We all know that X is popular for cryptocurrency-related discussions, while Facebook and other social platforms are popular for different types of content.

If someone writes about cryptocurrency, they could share their post on X. Similarly, someone writing about farming could share their post in farming-related Facebook groups to reach interested readers.

This could also create opportunities for smaller creators to find new readers beyond their existing audience.

In my opinion, this feature should be optional. Those who want to promote their posts this way could use it, while others could continue using Steemit as usual.

However, transparency, fairness, and genuine audience growth should be given importance when distributing rewards.

Finally, I want to say that improving Steemit is not only about creating good content. It is also very important to create opportunities for that content to reach new people.
