The Diary Game [03/09/2026] // Rounding Up Back-to-School Preparations.

Hi guys, It’s another awesome day to share a little bit of my daily lifestyle with you all. I hope everyone is doing well wherever you are and that your day has been treating you kindly.

Today was one of those busy but fulfilling days when I had to make sure everything was finally in place for my kids as they prepare to return to school. As a parent, getting children ready for a new school term is never just about buying books and uniforms. There are always a few last-minute things to sort out, and today was my day to tie up those loose ends.

After getting myself ready, I left the house and headed to the school to hand in the school fees receipt. It felt good to get that important task out of the way finally. With school fees settled and the receipt submitted, I could breathe a little easier knowing that another important part of the preparations had been completed.

From there, I made my way to the school secretariat to fit my last son’s uniforms. This was another item I had been looking forward to ticking off my list. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, and I returned home with his uniforms safely in hand. It is amazing how something as simple as a new uniform can make the reality of a new school term feels so close.

By the time I got back home, I was ready to turn my attention to lunch. After all the running around, everyone needed something warm and satisfying to eat. I decided to prepare one of my simple favourite meals, vegetable soup served with boiled sweet potatoes.

There is something comforting about preparing a homemade meal after a busy morning. I got busy in the kitchen, preparing the vegetables and cooking the soup while the sweet potatoes boiled. Before long, the delicious aroma filled the house. The meal was simple, healthy, and just what I needed for my stomach.

After lunch and a little rest, my evening took a completely different turn. I settled down to spend some time on Steemit, where I had an important task waiting for me. I needed to create the final report for the August Community Curator Report.

It was not something I wanted to rush because community reports require attention to detail. So, I spent my evening putting everything together, reviewing the necessary information, and making sure the final report was properly prepared.

Eventually, the day caught up with me after school preparations, cooking, and working online, I decided it was time to call it a day. I shut everything down, prepared myself for bed, and finally retired for the night.

Looking back, it was a productive day as I managed to complete the remaining school preparations, collect my son’s uniforms, prepare a lovely meal for the family, and finish an important Steemit task and with that, I bid you all goodnight. Until my next diary, guys, enjoy your weekend in peace ✌️ 🤗.
