The Diary Game [07/09/2026]:When An Exams Took An Unexpected Turn:A Day of Disappointment For Cyber security Students

​Today was officially the start of our second semester examinations, and like every dedicated student, I woke up prepared, focused, and ready to face the papers. But as they say, life doesn't always go according to plan!

​In my department—Computer Science—we are split into different options: Software Development, Networking, AI, and Cybersecurity. I am in the Cybersecurity track. Today, the entire school officially kicked off exams. Every other department and option was set up and ready to write.

​When the invigilator began distributing papers to our hall, something felt completely off. The very first student who received a paper noticed that it wasn't even scheduled for today—it was a paper we were supposed to write on Wednesday! It turns out our lecturer likely forgot to print the actual exam paper for today's course.

​So, while every other department and option wrote their exams and left, the entire Cybersecurity class was left stranded. Our paper had to be postponed to an unknown date.

Smiling through it all! No matter the circumstances or unexpected delays, I refuse to let it get me down.

​Naturally, the atmosphere in the hall quickly turned into pure chaos and disappointment. Everyone had spent sleepless nights preparing for this specific exam, so tempers were high.

The frustration, heated arguments, and disappointment were real! ​It was truly heartbreaking to see other students finishing up and walking home with smiles on their faces, while we were sent home without writing anything after all that mental preparation.

​By the end of it all, the mental fatigue caught up with me. The stress of the anticipation, mixed with the drama of the morning, completely drained my energy. I had to just take a Keke straight back home to rest and reset my mind.

​ Exhausted in the Keke on my way home to recharge. ​Even though today didn't go as planned, it is well. Frustrations are part of the journey, but maintaining a positive mindset is what keeps us going.

Now, we wait for the rescheduled date and keep pushing forward!
