THE DAIRY GAME:WEDNESDAY ENGUAMEN/UNEXPECTED FLOODING TO A SUCCESSFUL CLIENT DELIVERY:(22/07/2026)
My Wednesday kicked off early in the morning. After getting ready, I reflected on the day's agenda, which included an important visit to a project site in Ibiono where we’ve been molding blocks for a client.

WHEN FLOOD PURSE THE WORK, MY WEDNESDAY EXPERIENCE
Before I left home, I received updates from my team that they hadn’t been able to work due to flooding in the area. Heavy rains the night before had continued into the morning. Given the circumstances, I decided to visit the site myself to assess the situation.
Upon arriving, I quickly realized the severity of the flooding. The area was so submerged that I couldn’t even drive my car onto the property. The persistent rainfall had rendered access nearly impossible, leaving the entire facility inundated.

Standing there in the flooded conditions made it clear that resuming work would be nearly impossible for at least a week or two, especially if the rain persisted. As a business owner, sometimes tough choices must be made. I recognized that the best course of action was to pause work—not to push through in an unsafe and flooded environment.
After evaluating the situation, I decided to temporarily halt operations at the Ibiono site and bring my workers back to our Uyo location. It wasn’t an easy choice, considering the time we’ve invested, but safety and careful planning must take priority.
Later that afternoon, I had another responsibility awaiting me: delivering 500 six-inch hollow blocks to a client. Given the quantity, I needed a large truck capable of handling the entire load at once.
I waited patiently until around 3 p.m. when the truck arrived at my factory. We then began the labor-intensive process of loading the blocks, which required careful planning and handling to ensure everything was loaded safely.

Once the loading was finished, we transported the blocks to the client. Upon arrival, the client inspected the delivery and confirmed that everything matched his order, which is always a satisfying moment for me as a business owner.
So, my Wednesday was a blend of challenges and achievements. The flooding at the Ibiono site unexpectedly interrupted our work, but we made the right choice to prioritize safety. Later, we successfully fulfilled a 500-piece block order for another client.

I give all thanks to God. Running a business isn’t always about seamless days; there are often delays, rain, floods, transportation hurdles, and other unforeseen circumstances. However, with wisdom, patience, strategic planning, and divine guidance, we continue moving forward.
I want to sincerely thank all my clients for your patronage and support this year. Your trust, referrals, and every order—big or small—are vital to our business's growth, and I deeply appreciate your support.
To all my clients and supporters, a heartfelt thank you. May God bless you, prosper your businesses, bring you success, and reward your support.
All glory to God for a fruitful Wednesday, despite the hurdles.
God bless you all!
