Preparing A Native Meal I've Missed So Much(13-08-2026)

in my kitchen preparing asa iwa
Hello my friends, @emarchy is back again today. I will do something different today and it is sharing a guide on how I made a native food called Asa Iwa.
I honestly don't know the English name for it so if you do, you can tell me and others so we could learn, you know I'm a old mama as I am fondly called by my daughter.

cocoyam leaf for wrapping the grated cassava
I peeled and grated the cassava and when I was done, I went into the farm and plucked cocoyam leaf which I used in wrapping the grated cassava.
I poured it into the pot when I finished wrapping and added extra vegetable leaf to make it ever green because that is how I enjoy the meal.
I placed the pot on fire and added a little amount of water, I added pomo, fish, mfi, and seasonings. The meal was ready and we all ate in the pot and it finished immediately. I realized I didn't take pictures when we finished eating and I was so angry with myself.
