The DIARY GAME 1: FINAL BIOMETRICS DAY

in Steem Cameroon5 hours ago

‎Good day everyone, I'm Gideon also known as @gideonmayor on steemit. The day of my final NYSC biometrics exercise began on a bright morning. I woke up early with mixed feelings of excitement and relief because I knew this would be my last biometric verification as a corps member. After saying my morning prayers, I freshened up, dressed in my NYSC outfit, and made sure I had all the necessary items before leaving home.

‎When I arrived, there was already a long queue. Despite the wait, everyone remained patient, chatting, laughing, and sharing memories from the service year. The atmosphere was filled with joy and although some people were crying and feeling sad cos because we all knew this was one of our final official NYSC activities. When it was finally my turn, my fingerprints were captured, my details were verified, and the biometric process was completed successfully. I felt relieved and grateful that everything went smoothly without any issues.

Went to buy snacks

‎while feeling excited about the whole day I started feeling some movement in my stomach so I went to buy this my favorites cookie 🍪

meeting of friends and taking pictures

‎After the exercise, I spent a few minutes with friends, taking pictures and reminiscing about our experiences—from the orientation camp to our places of primary assignment and community development service. It was a beautiful reminder of how far we had all come.

‎By 2p.m., I returned home feeling fulfilled and thankful. As I reflected on my NYSC journey, I realized it had taught me discipline, resilience, patience, teamwork, and the importance of serving my country. Although the service year had come to an end, the memories, friendships, and lessons would remain with me for a lifetime.

I drank garri

‎By 2:30 p.m., I entered my house feeling exhausted but happy. The first thing I did was prepare a refreshing cup of some corn flakes, floating berries and milk to spice it up (garri), which tasted even better after the stressful and tiring day. abeg ooo who no like better thing 😊😋
