How My Day Went

Good evening steem family

Im here to tell you all how i spent my day today and also the important of having supportive friends

I woke up not quite on the good side of the bed... I was having a headache and i felt sad about a few things i couldn't change about myself so generally you can say i was in a bad mood so i called my friend , Henry , he lives across the street and wasn't hard to reach .

On that faithful december in 2024 , i was to go to a christmas carol not far from my house but i changed my mind a minute to the carol and went to a different one instead . I went with my sister so it was going great until i bumped into Henry while dancing to the music , i turned to apologise but he laughed it off and we both exchanged greetings , i didn't ask his name and he didn't ask mine too. The next time i saw him was at school omw to class, we walked to class together and that was when we exchanged names ... Turned out that we stayed in the same block at school..... That was how i met Henry and since then we've been more of brothers than friends.

Henry and i took a stroll to our usual chilling spot .. the front of a barbing saloon across the street , we sat down, joked, gisted and laughed about almost everything . Then i noticed that everything just felt lighter , i felt better, the sadness slowly disappeared and at that moment i realised that i just felt alone and not necessarily sad

After that we took a long stroll while talking about our favorite artists new songs of the week, we came back to see they had brought light back at home, we then departed after handshakes,

On getting home i realized i had spent almost the entire day with Henry and the truth is i didnt feel like i was with him up to 30 minutes, i called him on phone and we joked about it and also planned to meet up again but rain started falling and we couldnt anymore so i played a game of tetris on my television while having food cooking (which i almost burnt by the way)

Long story short.... Friends are an important part of life, they make everything feel better just by being there, they let you know that you may be going through hell but youre not going alone
