The Diary Game: (20/8/2026) A Day of Sober Reflection About Life
Hello everyone, welcome to today’s episode with yours truly, @odiwo. In today’s episode, I’ll be sharing how my Thursday went.
I woke up grateful to God for life, good health, and family. I relaxed on my bed for a little while because I woke up earlier than I needed to. I wasn't going to cook anything this morning because there was already food in the pot, and it would be enough for everyone.
Something happened today that I would love to share with you. I was at work, and after attending to some customers, there was a quiet moment because no one else was coming in. So, I decided to plug my phone and observe a quiet time.
Reflecting About Life
Then, I began to think deeply about life. Man is conceived in the womb, born, and begins to grow. With so much care and support from family, friends, neighbours, teachers, priests, and even strangers, we gradually mature into adults. Then, another level of life begins.
We begin to take responsibility for our lives. We graduate from school, learn skills, get married, and give birth to children. We train and care for our children until they become adults and are able to stand on their own. Then, they also get married and give birth to our grandchildren, and from them, we may also receive great-grandchildren.
Then, one day comes when we will leave everyone behind and journey to the great beyond, where we will meet our Maker and give an account of our lives. We will give an account of whether we impacted lives positively or not and whether we fulfilled our purpose or not. We will also give an account of how we lived our lives.
Honestly, reflecting on these things made me think deeply about life and how important it is to live a meaningful life while we are still here. Everything will end here but God remains the same forever.
I prayed that God should help me, and I pray that God helps you too.
Jollof Rice
I won't forget to let you know that I also had some yummy jollof rice today.
Most times, I prefer eating cooked food to snacks because, for me, cooked meals are generally healthier and more filling. I am not saying that snacks are not good, but I would advise us to eat more healthy, balanced, home-cooked meals if we truly value and love our health.
Alright, this is how my day went today.
See you in the next episode. Stay strong and blessed.
