The Diary Game: Charging Phones, Getting Some Rest and Battling a Cold [01/11/2026]
Good day, lovelies. It's a new month and the beginning of a new week. How's our weekend going? You're welcome to another diary session with me. In today's episode, I'm sharing how my Sunday went. And as you read, I hope this adds a little light to yours. Let's get to it.
This week has been filled with a lot of drama and a little bit of chaos for me. From not having electricity for days now to the constant rainfall and falling sick for the second time in two weeks. It's been a little bit of everything, to be honest. And for me, once there's no light, I become very uncomfortable and easily irritated. The heat at night is not even helping matters at all.
I woke up quite late and struggled to get out of bed because of the body aches from having a restless night. I had my bath, managed to get dressed and sat in the parlor for a while because it was much cooler than the other rooms in the house. My mom went to warm up the food we had before it got spoilt. After a while, she prepared and served us some fufu and oha soup for brunch since it was already noon. And man, oufff! It slapped hard. I know I've said this countless times, but my mom's cooking is just so delicious.
After we ate, I sat outside on the balcony to enjoy the cool breeze while scrolling through the internet and watching entertaining videos. A few hours later, my neighbor downstairs turned on his generator, and I went downstairs to plug in our phones. If not for my neighbor, I probably would have lost my mind out of boredom, you might not even be reading from me today, my lovelies. Then I went upstairs and watched from there to avoid stories that touch the heart.

When I went to plug in my gadgets
After about three to four hours, my neighbor turned off his generator, and I went downstairs to collect our phones and the other appliances that we had plugged in. Afterwards, I went upstairs to get some sleep because I was feeling quite sleepy. By the time I woke up, it was already dark. I took my bath because I was feeling sweaty and feverish, then sat on the balcony to enjoy the cool breeze.
After sitting outside for a while, I went in to have dinner and took some medication to help me sleep well. I was hoping it would help with the sneezing and cold because my nose was already blocked with catarrh. Those two symptoms made my day quite torturous. Sneezing every three to five minutes is not a pleasant experience , especially when you're already feeling feverish.

And my lovelies, that's how my Sunday went. How did yours go? Tell me about it. I'll be waiting in the comments box.
Until I write to you again, do take care of yourselves and stay safe out there.
