STEEM EVM Update: 322K Blocks, Validator Recovery & SVM Scan

in Steem Dev10 days ago

The Steem Virtual Machine (SVM) continues to operate with exceptional stability. Today, we have crossed 322,000 blocks, and the network is healthy with all validators back online and producing blocks.

Previous Updates

Network Health & Validator Status

One of our validators was temporarily jailed due to a brief downtime but has since successfully unjailed and recovered. The full set of 12 validators is now active and securing the network.

Current Network Stats:

  • Total Blocks Produced: 322,000+
  • Total Transactions: 8,985
  • Average Block Time: 6.6 seconds
  • Active Validators: 12 (All Online)

The consistent block time and high uptime demonstrate the resilience of our consensus mechanism, even when individual nodes experience temporary issues.

Explore with SVM Scan

I encourage everyone to check out SVM Scan, our dedicated explorer for the Steem Virtual Machine. It provides real-time insights into blocks, transactions, and validator performance.
