I Want to Add Steem Support to HivePostify. I Am Asking the Steem Community First.

My name is Aftab Irshad. This is my post on Steemit after a long time.

I am not here to reopen old arguments. A lot happened years ago between these two chains. People already know that history. I do not want to drag it back into this post. I was younger then. I am a student. At that time I did not have enough understanding to judge every decision clearly. Some of my earlier choices were made with limited knowledge. I accept that. I am not asking anyone to debate who was right. I only want to talk about what I want to build now.

I built HivePostify as a platform for creating content, building a profile, and offering freelance work. For a long time the platform stayed connected to one chain. That made the product narrower than it needed to be. A user should not have to belong to only one place in order to write, publish, or find work.

I now want to make HivePostify multi-chain.

The first question I want to ask here is simple. Can Steem be added in a way that a user on HivePostify can also publish to Steem? I do not mean a copy of an old frontend. I mean a practical option. If someone creates a post or a profile on the platform, they should be able to reach Steem users as well. If that is technically and socially acceptable to this community, I want to build it.

I am asking here first because this should not be done quietly. If Steem support is added without listening to the people who still build and use this chain, it will look careless. I do not want that. I want to know whether this community sees any value in a platform that lets writers, creators, and freelancers publish here too.

HivePostify already has social posting, profiles, and a marketplace. The marketplace is the part I want to grow the most. People should be able to list a service, receive an order, and get paid. Content posting is still there, but it is not the only purpose. I do not want to build another place that only exists to farm rewards. I want a place that normal users can understand.

I know some people will read this and think I am only moving because one side did not support me. That is not the message. I am writing this because a product becomes weaker when it is trapped inside one small network. If a freelancer in Pakistan or anywhere else can publish once and reach more than one community, the product becomes more useful. That is the only reason I am considering Steem support.

I also know this work will take time. Login, keys, broadcasting, communities, and rewards all work differently. I do not want to promise a date. I want to know first whether the direction makes sense to people here. If the answer is no, I will accept that. If the answer is yes, I will start the integration properly and keep the updates public.

I am not asking this community to fund the idea in this post. I am not here to argue about the past. I am here to say that I want HivePostify to become a platform where a user can create and publish on more than one chain, and Steem is one of the chains I want to include.

If you have used Steem for a long time, tell me what would make this useful and what would make it a mistake. That feedback matters more to me than a short reaction.
