Powerup and win #48 / 69 SP
Greetings, friends of Steem and the Steem Fashion&Style community. Today is the first day of September, and that means it's time for a Power Up!
Fortunately, I was able to gather a small amount of Steem to perform the Power Up, a total of 69 Steem.
Since there are always new users, I'll quickly review the steps needed to convert our Steem into Steem Power.
We need to go to our wallet; in my case, I use the fronted Steemx.org. First, claim any pending rewards, select the Power Up option and then choose the desired amount.
In the new window that opens, paste the active private key. We must be very careful with this key, because if it falls into the wrong hands, we could lose our tokens.
We verify that the desired amount is correct, and if it is, we choose the Confirm Power Up option.
And just like that, we've converted our Steem into Steem Power, which gives us more influence on the platform. The more Steem Power we have, the more our votes are worth, for example.
It also benefits us when curating, because both authors and curators participate in the rewards every time a post is voted on.
Well friends, I hope this mini tutorial has been helpful for the new members of the family, and if you have any questions, you can ask them in the comments.
I will answer questions and comments as soon as I can, because since this is a platform where people from all over the world are present, while some are active, others may be sleeping.
Happy September Steem Power Up to all!

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
Ooo I have been looking for a Steemit mobile app.. Are your screenshots Steemx on mobile? I like the kitty cats overlay hehe. You are a cat lover too? What is Steem Fashion&Style about, if you don't mind sharing?
Hi, I think the app isn't ready yet... I use my mobile browser; my computer died after almost 20 years, haha.
I love animals, I have 4 cats and 4 dogs, I even think lizards are cute! He he.
Well, I think the Steem Fashion&Style community was initially more focused on fashion. But now it's more open to other topics and contests, like this one about Power Up.
Since I haven't found a specific community focused on Power-Ups, I'm joining this contest. Plus, there's a prize, lol.
Do you like fashion?
Aah means like steemit on a mobile browser. Steemx looks cool. Does it give points for posting, etc?
Oh gosh, lizards too? Come to think of it, they are quite cute. As a kid, I find its tail interesting hehe.
Thank you for explaining Steem & Fashion. I will browse around and see. Ah if there is a contest, just join! I love contests. Gives us a purpose and content to post. Yes, I do like watching fashion (people watching) but I am a plain everyday similar tshirts and jeans kinda person. Hehe
That's right, it's a website, but the great thing is that your posts get votes if you use it to publish. It also has a built-in chat where you can create your own chat room.
Great job on the Power Up. Your clear mini-tutorial will be really helpful for new Steemians, especially the important reminder about keeping private keys safe.
Thank you very much, I remember when I started here, I didn't know how to do a power up either. Luckily, I was also able to read tutorials from other users. 😊
