Greetings everyone, how are you all today? Even though I've been inactive for a while, I decided to post again. I've been checking out the community, and my sister also encouraged me to keep going. I enjoy drawing, and I've improved my techniques, which I want to share with you all. When I heard about this contest thanks to my friend @hilarymedina, who invited me, I checked out my friend @dequeen's post. It's a great way to encourage us to keep drawing and improving, and I liked the idea of the contest. So, I'll share this drawing, which was inspired by an anime I'm currently watching called Hunter x Hunter. The character is Kurapika, and I'll show you the process of creating it. |

These are the materials I used for my drawing:
1- A plain white sheet of paper
2- A sharpened pencil
3- An eraser
4- A pen for outlining
Step 1
I started by drawing the eyes, eyebrows, and nose. Then the hair and mouth.
Step 2
Here I made the diamond earring, I finished drawing almost all of the hair, improving some details
Step 3
Draw the neck, the clothes, and the hand with chains; finish drawing it in pencil.
Step 4
I outlined it with the pencil, the whole drawing, to make it look better.
Step 5
I started coloring the hair yellow, adding shadows, and the eyes scarlet red, the pendant metal, and the diamond the same red.
Step 6
I added more color to the eyes and eyebrows, colored the clothes and the hand with silver chains, and added shadows to the hair and face.
The final result
And the last step was to fill the background with black, refine the shadows, and add a few details to make it look good. And that's how I finished drawing Kurapika.

This is the final result of the drawing. I had to add the little piece of paper with my name because I didn't realize it was there until I finished the whole thing, so I had to stick it on. The drawing took me all night last night, about 5 hours. As I mentioned, I added the paper yesterday. I really liked the drawing of one of my favorite characters from the Hunter x Hunter anime. I hope you liked it.
