Prove Yourself is the best artist for the week

Peace be upon you friends!

Hope you all are well. Today I am participating in this lovely Week 85 contest with my drawing. I really really liked this week's theme because it gives us the freedom to create something we want and also share with our friends of steemit. This time I have tried to make a pencil drawing on this occasion of a girl wearing glasses and a pretty hat. I like to draw facial features very much and hair with simple pencils lines, so I chose pencils instead of colors for this drawing.

About my drawing

My drawing shows a fashionable girl. He has big glasses, a beautiful cape and long hair. I have also tried to highlight his facial expressions. Special attention was paid to the hair braids, details of the glasses and the design of the hat so that the image looks simple yet elegant.

Steps in making a drawing

Step 1:

First I took the paper and wrote my username @mohammad1076 and the date on it, so that are very important to my identity would be clear before the drawing started as per the rules, regulations and requirements of the competition of this contest.

Step 2:

I then drew the basic outline of the girl glasses with a HB pencil. I tried to make the two glasses almost equal in size and have a proper distance between them.

Step 3:

In the next step I created the shape of the full entire face features and used lighter lines for the eyes to make it attractive and beautiful, nose and lips. In the beginning I didn't use too much pressure on the pencil so that if I make a mistake it can be easily corrected.

Step 4:

Then I made the hat and hair. Used thin and long lines for the hair while adding small details on the hat. At this stage the style of the picture started to become quite clear.

Step 5:

Finally I did the shading in the glasses, hair, hat and different parts of the face. Tried to create some depth in the image through light and dark pencil lines.

How long did it take me?

This drawing took about two hours to complete. I completed each step slowly rather than rushing because even a small mistake in a pencil drawing can affect the overall look.

My condition and feeling

I was very happy when I finished the drawing in the last step. Although I wouldn't call it a complete and perfect piece of art, I am satisfied that I accomplished it with my effort. I think the most important thing in drawing is constant practice. Each new drawing gives us an opportunity to do something better than our previous attempt.

Where did I get this idea?

My main inspiration for this drawing came from fashion and cartoon style sketches. I found this style with glasses, hat and long hair interesting, so I tried to represent it in my pencil drawing. I added various details on my own so that the image felt like my own creative effort.

Finally I thank @dequeen for giving us the opportunity to showcase our creativity. I also invite my friends @taaher1, @abdullaht and @maryam86 to participate in this competition.

I hope you like my pencil drawing and its steps. My best wishes to all the participants. Let's keep improving our skills through constant practice.

Thank you!
