A Peaceful Visit to Sorghum Field 🌿

I walked slowly between plants. I touched long leaves with my hand. They felt fresh. At top of the plants I saw grain heads. I picked one carefully and looked at it. It was looking beautiful. I also clicked pictures. I wanted to save this lovely moment. Sorghum is mostly grown in villages. Farmers grow it every year. It does not need too much water. That is why many farmers prefer it. Even when weather becomes hot this crop can still grow well. It helps many families in village life. One big use of Sorghum is animal feed. Cows love to eat it. Buffaloes also enjoy it. Goats eat it too. Healthy green fodder keeps animals strong. When animals stay healthy they also give better milk. So this crop is really important for farmers.

Grain is useful as well. In many areas people make flour from it. Some families cook bread from Sorghum flour. My grandfather once told me that in old days people used it more often. It was simple food but very healthy. Sorghum has many health benefits. It gives energy to our body. It has fiber which helps digestion. It also contains iron and magnesium.

Many people say it is good choice for healthy eating. It is also gluten free. I was stand there I saw some birds flying over this field. They landed for a few seconds and then flew away again. It was such a simple view. But I really enjoyed it. In cities we don't get these moments very often.

I also remembered my childhood. We used to run in fields with friends. We played hide and seek. Sometimes our clothes became dirty. Our parents scolded us little. But after some time everyone smiled again. Those days were really beautiful. I miss them sometimes. Nature has its own magic. It does not speak. But it still makes us feel better. When I was walking there I forgot all my stress. My mind became fresh. I felt relaxed. I wish more people could spend time in green places.

I also noticed how much hard work farmers do. Growing a crop is not easy. They wake up early. They work in heat. They take care of the fields every day. Because of them we have food on our tables. We should always respect their hard work. Before leaving I looked back one more time. It was not a long visit. But it became a lovely memory for me. I really enjoyed my time in the Sorghum field. I hope I will visit again very soon. Green fields always make my heart happy. Sometimes the best happiness is found in very simple places.
