Prove yourself as the best artist for the week

Today I am once again participating in this beautiful contest with my new drawing. This time I have sketched a traditional Tiki mask. It is based on old tribal masks made from wood and is seen as a sign of strength, protection, and courage in many cultures.I have always enjoyed special and creative art, which is why I picked this topic.

what did i make

I made a wooden mask of an angry face in pencil, adding big eyes, wide teeth, thick eyebrows and unique carvings. Later I added leaves and small fruits on top of the mask to make it more beautiful and natural. Finally, create wood texture and shading using fine lines to make the drawing feel more realistic.

Steps in making a drawing

First step:

First I wrote my username @taaher1 and date 15-07-26 on paper to complete the contest rules.

Second step:

I drew the basic shape and outer outline of the mask.

Third step:

Completed his teeth, eyes and wood texture with fine lines.

Step Four:

I added thick eyebrows, nose and facial expressions to make the mask look more unique.

Fifth Step:

I finally finished the whole drawing by adding big leaves, small fruits, and some wooden shading on top.

How long did it take to finish the drawing?

This drawing took around an hour to complete. Each step was carefully worked out so that the wood texture and facial expressions are beautifully highlighted. When I finished the drawing, I felt really happy because my idea came out the way I wanted.

Where did I get this idea from?

I got the idea from ancient tribal art, traditional masks, and adventure movies.
I have always been interested in the unique masks they show, so I used my imagination to draw it in my own way.For me, art isn't just a pastime but a wonderful way to share my thoughts.I try to draw every day to get better at my skills.
