Daily Art — Day 4

Greetings Steemians, welcome to my day four of posting daily Art.
Today I'll be depicting a sport called Basketball in my art.
We all know basketball is popular but not like soccer or Football.

I began the drawing with the base of the basket.
This is supposed to be like 3D.

After sketching the base, I sketched the ring and the net too
This took a lot of time because I needed to make the net and ring accurate.
Then after sketching the ring and net, I sketched the ball.

Here, I shaded the base and the ring.
I used cross-hatching repeatedly to shade the base. But for the ring, I shaded lightly.

From the point where I sketched the ball, I added details; the lines on it and the inscription on it.
For this slide,I started doing tiny dots.
This tiny dots would cover the whole ball before I start shading it.

Here, I had already completed the tiny dots. So I started shading the ball using cross hatching but lightly.

This is a complete shading that I did;
For the first image, it was light. Then I added more texture and clarity by shading again, and that's what you see in the second image.
Then I wrote my username.

This is the final image after writing my username and signing on it.
