Let's Draw Steemians — @ahsansharif

Hello guys, welcome to another post of me drawing Steemians.
Today , I'll be drawing a well known Steemian @ahsansharif .
I've been reading his travel and review posts, they're amazing.
I picked up his photo from one of his post and I've decided to surprise him.

Tools;

Black ink
Drawing paper.
Eraser

Steps

First of all, I started with the light sketching of the head.
Sketches are done carefully and lightly to avoid mistakes. And if there are mistakes it can be corrected immediately before drying up.
As I sketched the head, I also added the ears.

Here is a complete sketch of the head, adding all facial features such as the eyes left to shade, the brows, the nose , lips, beards and so on.
I also sketched out the shoulder and lower chest covered in the clothes.

This is the shading progress shot. As you can see, I'm not done yet.
So for the face, I used cross hatching technique, hut did it very lightly. He is fair in complexion and it wouldn't be nice if I add too much texture to the skin.
For the hair, it's basically curling. I was able to get areas with light reflections and dark areas as well.
For the clothing , I used same cross hatching but repeatedly to give it move texture . For the folds on the cloth , same cross hatching but more and more texture.
Anywhere you find dark shading, it depends on how I shade , not that I changed materials for shading.

This is the complete shading, all the details on the reference Image have been represented here. The folds, the outline in the clothing,etc.
