Today, I would like to share a story with you about our sporting activities. We work at an institution—a Madrasa—where we regularly engage in sports to keep both our bodies and minds refreshed. I want to tell you about a football tournament we participated in—a tournament with quite a history! There are twenty of us teachers in total, which means we have a limited number of players. Because of this, we formed three teams for the tournament, with six players in each team.

Friends, we frequently organize tournaments like this. Just before the tournament begins, players are acquired through a draft process, where they are "purchased" using a specific budget. We select three team owners, who then oversee the entire tournament and the matches; each owner is responsible for one team.In the draft, players in Category A command the highest bids, followed by those in Category B, and then Category C. For instance, I was acquired by my team owner for 290 units of currency. In fact, every player is acquired in this manner—the owners "buy" us for their respective teams. The tournament kicks off with a grand, spectacular opening match. Once the matches conclude, refreshments are served, and all the players are paid. The team owners ensure that payments are made very promptly, which allows us to stay focused and perform at our best during the games. So friends, we set a date for our first match. Before we knew it, that day arrived. We kicked off our first match—it was the inaugural game. The day of the inauguration was truly memorable and wonderful; it was a beautiful day. There was soft sunlight, a cool breeze, and the weather was simply perfect. We had a fantastic time playing in those conditions, and it didn't feel strenuous at all. All the players gathered for a photo session, followed by some fun, celebration, and merrymaking. Following this, our tournament continued for quite some time. The games played were truly excellent and impressive. The tournament lasted for about a month and a half, with one or two matches taking place each week. Occasionally, we also played games and spent enjoyable moments with other brothers outside of the tournament. We had a wonderful time. Throughout the entire tournament, breakfast was provided for us every day—courtesy of our landlord. The atmosphere back then was truly delightful. As time passed, the tournament began to draw to a close. We did encounter a minor issue during the semi-finals, but everything was eventually resolved. Once matters were settled, the final match took place. Alhamdulillah—by the grace of Allah—we won the final and emerged as champions.

In this wonderful and joyful atmosphere, we concluded our games. It was a fantastic time—one that will remain memorable for the rest of our lives; these moments will always be cherished. From time to time, we organize such sporting activities, and we truly enjoy doing so. After the games, everyone had some snacks. Each participant gave their absolute best to help their team win.
