Once a month, I try to purchase my monthly groceries from Riazuddin Bazar. This usually happens during the first week of the month; however, since I go with my husband, it might sometimes get delayed depending on his schedule. I typically head out to Riazuddin Bazar for these monthly grocery purchases after having lunch.

On my way to Riazuddin Bazar, I stopped at the New Market intersection and visited a children’s clothing store to buy an outfit for my friend’s son. Given the current, exorbitant rise in the prices of goods, I find myself taken aback whenever I set out to purchase anything; buying such expensive items on the spur of the moment is quite difficult. However, some needs simply cannot be avoided, so I went ahead and purchased the outfit before leaving New Market.

Upon entering Riazuddin Bazar, I first headed to a home decor shop. The store featured a variety of unique and exclusive decorative items. Although I entered the shop, the seller was not present, so I browsed on my own; however, I could not ask about the prices. I particularly liked a 'Twin Towers' decorative piece, but since the seller was not there, I was unable to purchase it—so, I had to leave the shop.

After that, I went to a shop that sells artificial flowers. A few days earlier, I had bought a bouquet of artificial flowers to decorate my home, but since it had gotten damaged, I returned to the shop to buy some more. However, as soon as I entered, my husband began to rush me, saying he had other things to attend to. Consequently, I didn’t get the chance to take my time and look around the shop properly. Not being able to buy items for my home leaves me feeling down, whereas being able to purchase them brings me great joy.

We headed out to do some grocery shopping; today, we went to Riazuddin Bazar to purchase our monthly groceries. This time, we bought our monthly supplies from a new shop. While we try to shop at different places each time, we make sure to always buy our dry fruits from the same shop. Once the shopping was done, I set off for home.

While grocery shopping itself is relatively straightforward, the process that follows washing up, organizing everything by putting each item in its proper place, and promptly storing perishable goods in the refrigerator is a far more laborious task. By the time I finished putting everything away, it was already time for dinner; so, after eating, I headed straight to bed.
