The diary game|06-09-2026|"A story of typical day"
Hello dear friends,
How are you? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today is Sunday, September 6, 2026. I spent the day doing routine activities, and I am sharing some notable moments in today's diary entry. I hope you enjoy reading about this ordinary day.
My mornings always begin with the same routine. Our household consists of four members: my wife, our two children, and myself. We share the household chores; I usually handle the less demanding tasks, while my wife takes care of the more hectic ones.
Today, I woke up at 7:10 AM and freshened up. The children were already up and getting ready for school. I stepped in to help them. Meanwhile, my wife was busy cooking right after waking up, racing against the clock to finish the meal so she could take the kids to school. I helped the children eat their breakfast and pack their bags.

Children's breakfast in the morning
Thanks to our combined efforts, everyone was ready on time. At 8:00 AM, my wife left for school with the children. I then took a moment to relax before attending to the unfinished morning chores—such as making the bed, which hadn't been done yet. Since my wife hadn't had time to pack the lunchboxes, I took care of that. Afterward, I bathed, had my own breakfast, locked the main door, and set off for the office at 9:45 AM.

My younger son is ready to go to school
Once outside, I hired an auto-rickshaw and headed toward the office. The sky was clear, the day was sunny, and a pleasant breeze was blowing; I enjoyed the ride as I made my way there.
Not all my colleagues had arrived at the office yet. I reviewed the day's tasks to see if there was anything urgent. Finding no emergencies—just routine work—I began my tasks with the confidence that I could work in a relaxed frame of mind.

At the time of working in the desk
I work at a company that manufactures metal rods. Part of my job involves maintaining all store-related records. I go about my routine tasks, working until 11:30 AM, at which point I take a short break. During this time, I have tea and a light snack before refocusing on my work. Since the workload isn't too heavy, I can chat with colleagues while working. Time flies, and before I know it, the afternoon has arrived.

I took a light tiffin in the office
I work until 2:30 PM and then take my lunch break. Before eating, I perform the Zuhr prayer and then have the lunch I brought from home.
I return to my desk, but my eyes are burning. Although I wear glasses as advised by the doctor, I struggle to follow all their recommendations. The doctor advised taking a break every half hour, but it is difficult to do so while handling office tasks. Today, the burning sensation in my eyes started because I worked without any breaks. I take off my glasses and sit for a while with my eyes closed.

I wired eyeglasses for eye problem
At 3:45 PM, I have a cup of black tea, which helps significantly in shaking off physical fatigue and drowsiness. Then, I focus on completing my remaining tasks and continue working until the office closes.
The office closes at 6:00 PM. I tidy up my desk, leave the office, and board a bus heading home. I get off near my house, step into a restaurant, and order some naan bread. As the bread is being prepared, I sit and watch the restaurant's operations. After about ten minutes, the naan is ready, and I head home.

I am at a restaurant to buy some food for my children
Upon reaching home, I give the naan to the children, and they sit down to eat. I go to freshen up. A little later, I join the children and spend some quality time with them.
At 9:00 PM, I set out to purchase a few essential items. I visit a familiar grocery store. Upon entering, I gather the items I need myself. Meanwhile, the shopkeeper brings me some tea.

At the time of buying grocery items at night
I spend some time chatting while enjoying the tea. Then, I return home with the items I purchased.
At 10:30 PM, I freshen up and have dinner, and then go to bed at 11:30 PM.
