The diary game|22-10-2026|"A story of ordinary day."
Hello dear friends,
How are you? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today is Thursday, October 22, 2026. I spent the day engaged in some routine activities, and I would like to share a few notable moments from today in this diary entry. I hope you enjoy reading it.
As usual, I woke up at 7:15 AM and freshened up. The children were already awake and getting ready for school. My wife ran into a problem while trying to prepare breakfast—there was no gas for the stove. This has been an ongoing issue for the past few days; the gas supply is often unavailable, and even when it is, the pressure is so low that cooking becomes impossible. Meanwhile, the children were almost ready to leave for school. I quickly headed to a local grocery store and bought a loaf of bread. After giving the children breakfast—bread and bananas—I sent them off to school at 8:10 AM, with my wife accompanying them.

In the morning, I went to buy bread for breakfast
I tidied up the bedding and the room. By 8:40 AM, I headed out to buy some vegetables. The shops were just beginning to stock their produce; since most vendors bring in fresh vegetables every morning, it is the best time to buy them. I picked up some seasonal vegetables and returned home.
It was 9:15 AM, and I began getting ready for work. Since we couldn't cook, I wasn't able to pack a lunch for the office. After a quick shower and a breakfast of bread, I set off for work.
Once outside, I waited for a rickshaw. I live quite deep within the neighborhood, where finding transport can often be difficult. Today was no exception—I had to wait a while before an empty auto-rickshaw finally arrived. It was crucial that I reach the office on time, so I urged the driver to hurry. Fortunately, I managed to reach the office on time. However, upon arrival, I found everything in disarray; the office was being rearranged, and all the old items had been packed away. There was no proper environment for work, so arriving early proved pointless. My colleagues began to arrive one by one, and like me, they were all disappointed.

I saw that everything was in disarray.
Workers were busy with the renovation, and I spent my time observing them. Apart from offering an occasional suggestion, there wasn't much for me to do. Even though no actual work was being done, the usual tea and snacks were still served. I enjoyed some tea and light refreshments while chatting with my colleagues.
At one point, I was instructed to oversee the workers. Although they were quite skilled at their tasks, I still provided some guidance here and there.
There were several groups of workers: some were dismantling decorations, others were packing office documents into sacks, and some were removing the air-conditioning units. As time passed, it became afternoon.
I stepped out for lunch and ate at a restaurant. Although I am not accustomed to eating out—as it often causes me digestive issues—I had no choice today.
After lunch, I returned to the office. With no real work to perform, I spent my time sitting, sipping tea, and supervising the ongoing tasks.

I have no work; I am spending my time idly.
Eventually, it was time for the workday to end, but since the workers were still busy, I couldn't leave. I finally departed at 7:30 PM. I caught a vehicle home and arrived at 8:30 PM. After washing up and freshening up, I found my children busy with their studies, so I stepped in to help them. I stayed with them until 10:00 PM, then sat down for dinner. Finally, at 11:30 PM, having wrapped up everything for the day, I went to bed.

Even though there wasn't much work in the office, it was still busy. Finally, he also gave importance to his children's education. All in all, it can be said that although your day was ordinary, there was no shortage of responsibilities.
