Travel diary game|26-08-2026|"Celebrate Eid E Miladunnabi in Faridpur and return to Dhaka"
Hello dear friends,
How are you? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today is Wednesday, August 26, 2026. I spent the day participating in a program marking the holy occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi and traveling from Faridpur to Dhaka, my destination. In today's diary game, I will share some of the day's notable events. I hope you enjoy reading today's diary game.
My day did not begin in the usual manner; it started the moment the date changed. I arrived yesterday in Atarshi, Faridpur district, for the Eid-e-Miladunnabi observance. The night is spent in various acts of worship, prayers, Zikir (remembrance of God), and listening to religious sermons.
People from all over the country have gathered here to celebrate Eid-e-Miladunnabi. Hundreds of thousands of people have assembled in Atarshi to sing the praises of the beloved Prophet and listen to discourses by renowned Islamic scholars. I, too, am present here as one of the listeners.
It is now 1:00 AM, and distinguished scholars are still delivering valuable speeches. We, the audience, are listening to them attentively.

Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi is being celebrated
My hands and legs are aching from sitting for so long. Moreover, I haven't had dinner yet. I stepped out to walk around the venue. It is late at night, yet people are still arriving from far and wide. Wherever I look, I see nothing but a sea of heads.

Huge people came here to celebrate the Eid E Miladunnobi
Some, like me, are wandering around to see the vast arrangements; others have stepped out to eat, freshen up, or satisfy a craving for tea. While hundreds of thousands are engrossed in acts of worship, countless others are busy with various tasks.

Still, people come here from long distances
The organizing committee has arranged meals for the hundreds of thousands of guests present. In accordance with Islamic principles, the same type of food is being served to everyone in identical vessels. Everyone is sitting on the ground and enjoying the meal with satisfaction.

A lot of volunteers engaged in cooking food
Thousands of volunteers are working here without any remuneration. Despite their tireless efforts, smiles of joy remain on their faces. I spent the time engaged in these various activities; I did not get a chance to sleep throughout the night.

There were lot os temporary shops in that place
Time passed, and the hour for the Fajr prayer arrived. Hundreds of thousands of us offered prayers together and concluded the observance of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi with discussions about the Prophet, as well as the recitation of Durood and Salam.

I was in the field, listening to the sermons of the religious scholars.
However, we had not yet been dismissed; the second phase of the event was about to begin. Today marked the 37th founding anniversary of the Zaker Party, and various programs had been organized to celebrate the occasion.

Second session was held in the morning.
Since everyone had spent the entire night in worship without sleep and was exhausted, the program commenced early. It began with the recitation of Quranic verses and Milad. Party activists delivered speeches, and the Party Chairman marked the occasion by cutting a cake and releasing pigeons and balloons; as the national anthem was sung, the area resonated with the voices of hundreds of thousands of people.

Group is ready to sing the national anthem.
I hadn't even realized when it turned 12:00 PM. The Party Chairman announced the conclusion of the event and instructed everyone to stay for lunch.
A massive crowd gathered at the dining area. I, too, stood in line like the others to receive my meal. I enjoyed a lunch of delicious Biryani and sweets.
Afterward, I set out for Dhaka. A drizzle had already begun, and a massive traffic jam had formed on the road as everyone departed simultaneously. My pace slowed down significantly.

There was a lot of traffic on the road.
Finally, I arrived at the bus station at 2:30 PM. Every Dhaka-bound bus was extremely crowded. I was looking for a bus where I could secure a comfortable seat and get some sleep.

At the time of returning home
After quite some time, I found just such a vehicle. I fell asleep the moment I sat down. Suddenly, a jolt from the bus woke me up. Looking out the window, I saw that we had crossed the Padma River and had come to a halt near the toll plaza.

Our bus reached the toll plaza
The sky is beautifully clear, everything around is gleaming, and the car is speeding along. The smoothness of the road allows for a much faster pace. Beautiful flowering plants line the median, with various blooms creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. My sleepiness has vanished; I gaze at the stunning scenery and snap photo after photo to enrich my collection of memories.

I enjoy the beautiful atmosphere on the road
I return home at 4:00 PM, having finished the trip. I freshen up, have a meal, and then take another nap.
I wake up at 8:00 PM and freshen up again. Then, I spend time with the children; I check on their studies and ask if they are facing any issues. Spending time and chatting with them brings me great joy—a pleasure I truly cherish.
Finally, at midnight, I bring this wonderful, memorable day to a close.
