A fond memory of three friends traveling together to take an examination at the Fine Arts department in Satkhira town.
Hello friends
How are you all? I hope you are all doing very well by the grace of God. I am also doing very well by your prayers. I am going to start today's new post by greeting and congratulating all the brothers and sisters of "Steem for Bangladesh" on my behalf. Today, I am here to share my experience of traveling to distant Satkhira with friends to take an examination. I hope that by learning about these memories from my past, you will gain some valuable insights.
The three of us—friends from Meherpur—traveled to Satkhira town to take an examination for a fine arts course offered by the Institute of Fine Arts. Over the course of this two-year program, we gained foundational knowledge across various artistic disciplines. However, we were quite anxious as the final examination approached. We arrived in Satkhira on March 21, 2023, and reached the examination center on the night of March 22. While there, we tried to gather information regarding the potential questions and answers. The center was located about a kilometer away from the hotel where we were staying.
We arrived at the center and waited for quite a while for Raju Bhai—an elder brother figure whose support had enabled us to take this course. Before his help, we had no idea how to go about enrolling in it. In any case, we reached the location in the evening and waited for him for a long time. Yet, the time spent waiting was actually quite pleasant, as he had asked us to be there and had also promised further assistance.
We were overjoyed when we became certain that Raju Bhai would assist us and provide us with a set of questions and answers to keep. Although he didn't actually provide any written answers, he did give us an idea of some questions that would likely appear on the exam. Naturally, we were so delighted that we decided to get some sweets for him. We headed to a sweet shop in Satkhira Sadar and began looking for some high-quality, premium sweets to purchase. In the process, we ended up getting not just sweets, but also some of the famous Sundarbans honey—a special treat for Raju Bhai.
After arriving at our hotel, we called Raju Bhai on his mobile phone. We were staying at Hotel Tiger in Satkhira, while Raju Bhai was staying at another hotel nearby—which is why it took him a little while to join us. Once he arrived, we all sat down to eat. We enjoyed some sweets, and the atmosphere was full of joy. Along with the three of us friends, there were two other female examinees present; they had traveled from quite far away and were very close to Raju Bhai. We all supported one another, interacting like a group of friends, and were truly happy. This sense of joy was something I found deeply delightful.
