Sunrise (reflection) Photography [Nov. 4th 2026]

The sun has yet to fully rise; dew, cloaked in mist, lingers on—clinging to the remnants of a night that holds countless untold stories.

As before, my eyes refuse to compromise, resisting even a fleeting moment of closure. This morning, I choose a path I rarely take, if only to give my eyes to a sight out of the ordinary.

The path I took this morning followed the Krueng Aceh River toward Gampong Jawa—the place where I am currently staying while searching for a new job.

The road was still free from the bustle of traffic, allowing me to enjoy the morning atmosphere at a leisurely pace. To the east, the sun began to cast a reddish-orange glow, signaling its imminent arrival on the horizon.

I was struck by the unique scenery along the river, which remained shrouded in a soft, hazy mist. Moved by the sight, I felt compelled to capture this "luxurious" view in photographs. It is unique because the sky is never the same from one moment to the next, even when the location and the angle of the shot remain unchanged; the reflections and the positioning of objects are never exactly identical—this is what one might call a "moment." For me, this morning was a beautiful moment to savor—no coffee, no cigarettes, just a rare, profound sense of tranquility.

The reflection of a fisherman’s boat, the rising sun, and the captivating blue sky—these elements combined to create something truly special, a "luxury" captured in many frames using my Samsung A51, without the need for any further editing.

I have captured the beauty of the morning along the Krueng Aceh river through my lens, and today I share it with all of you, my dearest friends. I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did while I was there.
