The Diary Game:(17/09/2026): How I My Day Cooking Porridge Yam
Hi guys am here again to share with you my dairy, so today I went to do my last nail practical, and it came out so fine, and guess what, I passed it, so wit excitement I came back and slept off because of tiredness and all. So when I woke up, my dad was already back from work and has gone out. With his brother.
So my phone rang ,it was my aunty. She asked to go to her house and help her kids out with the home work. I wasn't happy at all, because those kids disturbs a lot. I would have rejected it but I couldn't since she's my senior. I told her I would go to her house she wasn't around.
The Home Work
So I got dressed and went to her house, when I got there the kids have started doing it but they were wrong, we had to clean it and started afresh. The little one was kind of slow. So I was patient with him. He is a slow writer. As we were doing it my aunty came back. She went to the market. I was not happy because I know the next thing.
My Angry face
She asked me to help her to unpack. I unpacked the groceries and kept the in the kitchen so she said she wants to make porridge yam for her family. I helped the peel the yam, then I washed and put them in the pot , placed it on the fire. She came and added the remaining ingredients. And allow to cook.
My phone rang it was my dad, he was back from his friend's place . He needed me to cook for him. I told my auntie,she said I should not bother that she would give me some of the porridge yam to go give her brother that is my dad. She asked me not to bother myself going back to cook.
So the food was ready, she dished my own and dishes my dad's foot in a food flask. Asked me to go home so the food won't get cold. I rushed home and give my dad his share. He didn't look so good but he had to eat it because he was hungry. He called my aunty to thanked her.
The Food
I asked my dad if he needed anything else he said no, since it was already late. I had my bath, took my drugs because I was having a headache. Then I went straight to my bed. My dad was still in the sitting room watching news. This was how I spent my day. Very hectic but I enjoyed it especially the yam porridge. Thank you for your time .
